CTAL-TM v3.0 is the latest released version of the ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Management certification. Anyone who has been studying for CTAL-TM version 2012 can write the exam until the sunset dates (30th May 2025 for English, 30th November 2025 for non-English).

Exam Structure
Candidates qualify for extra time if they are not writing the exam in their native language. Extra time needs to be applied for upon completing the exam registration form.

Exam Entry Criteria
To be eligible for the ISTQB Advanced Test Manager exam, candidates should have passed an ISTQB Foundation exam and should hold an ISTQB Foundation certificate.
18 Months of practical software testing or IT experience is recommended but not required.
