ISTQB Foundation Levels

The ISTQB framework has three overall levels of certification, ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Levels, ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Levels, and ISTQB Certified Tester Expert Levels. Each level dives deeper into specific topics that are essential to successful software testing.  

The ISTQB framework offers individuals the opportunity to create a career path by choosing what areas they would like to get certified in. 

The ISTQB certification has nine foundation certifications available. 

ISTQB CTFL - Foundation

This exam is the first step in the ISTQB framework and a pre-requisite for any of the other exams. Upon successfully completing the ISTQB Foundation exam individuals can proceed to focus on any of the other ISTQB certifications available and build a career path based on individual needs.

ISTQB CTFL - Agile Tester

This certification focusses on agile software development, the fundamental agile testing principles, practices and processes needed to successfully implement agile testing. 

ISTQB CTFL - Acceptance Testing
